These days people are more youth oriented in a way that adults want to look more like teenagers. I admit I have this tendency to. Although I am in my 40s, I like associating myself more with young friends than adults my age. A lot of people have teased me as being a cougar. After five long years, I met again my closest friend from college. She has been married right after college and has now two kids. I am so happy for her, although I’ve heard just a year ago, she faced a very difficult stage of her marriage. She mentioned that her husband had been at Christian drug rehab. Two years ago I was diagnosed of GERD or what they called as acid reflux. It was seen in the results of the endoscopy procedure that there was already a broken line between my stomach and esophagus which needs to be monitored. So since then I have been taking pills as my maintenance in order to stabilize the acid. I even resigned from work because of too much stress and my social life now becomes limited. I have been living with my uncle since I was in high school. That is why I’ve been very close to my cousin. We both study at the same school and even get the same course in college. But lately, my uncle and I are wondering about my cousin’s eating habit.
